It's all going in the wrong direction
Young people need opportunities to see what is possible. They need to be exposed to a wide range of stimuli so they can broaden their views of the world. Identities are being formed when students hit high school. Young people are formulating and solidifying their understanding of themselves and the world around them. They are pulling away from family units and create their own social groups. Friendships and social standing become paramount to daily life. It consumes their time and thoughts and creates a deep emotional reservoir, leaving them exhausted.

Why are English teaching worried about the kids not caring about 1984?
Maths teachers fretting about geometry.
Science teachers waving periodic tables.

Young people need space. They need Trust. They need guidance.
They don't need to be D Graded.
